  I would like to begin by stating that I am no criminal, nor do I have a record with the department... But I have definitely had my share of incidences with the police officers in this town which DO indeed reflect on the entire department. My mother's car was stolen, my 12 year old was hit by a car and hospitalized, my house was broken into approximately 9 times, I have had about 15 bikes stolen from my house (one of which was actually found but then the officers wouldn't release it to us because we didn't have a receipt to show... Those are just a few and are just the ice breakers. Yet I have never had them do anything but fill out a report. Nothing has ever been fixed, remedied, found, or returned. Not to mention the nasty attitudes of the officers (which is the worst part). I quite frankly feel that I have personally about had it with this department. I know it's not CSI, but this is started to get ridiculous. The area I live and the things I have seen and witnessed... It's enough to make me feel less respectful toward the entire department I know that this is one family that will NEVER again make another donation to the department. I will just hang up when you call me harassing me for money/donations, because you have done nothing to help but only hinder my children and family. You show no signs of care towards us. Most of the officers are so incredibly RUDE. Once, one had to come to Cracker Barrel to apologize for his nasty behavior. I thought the police were supposed to set the bar for others to behave, so feel it is reasonable to be just as nasty and uncaring with you all as you all have been with me, my family and my children. So given some of my interactions with this department I feel that if these people are "Salisbury's Finest"... Then we are all in trouble. . I will also share these feelings with anyone I talk to about the Salisbury Police Department.
